While this fundraising event doesn’t count toward our member’s fundraising obligations, it’s a great way PACE to help the community while still adding to the financial support of our program.
Shredding sensitive documents is a great way to reduce your risk of becoming an identity theft victim. By attending our Community Shred Event, you can keep your personal information out of the hands of crooks!
What to Bring
You may bring as many file boxes full of documents (or kitchen-sized garbage bags full of papers) as you like.
Small metal items in the papers (like staples and a few paper clips) are fine. However, please do not bring stiff metal, computer parts, DVDs or other items that could jam the shredder.
PACE asks for a suggested donation of $10 per box or bag that you have shredded.
