Meet your teacher
A little about me
My name is Beth Dawson, and I love teaching fifth-grade PACE! I’ve been working in the Northshore School District since 2017. Previously, I was a 1:1 MLB para for 4 years at Frank Love Elementary. In 2021, I finished my Master’s in Teaching with endorsements in Elementary Education, SPED, and ELL. I have taught in the PACE program at Lockwood for 5 years.
I am married with four children (all teens or young adults). I grew up in Prosser in Eastern Washington, went to college in Texas, married a Texan, had a couple of kids, moved to Missouri, had a couple more kids, and we all moved back to Washington in 2017. As a family, we love to camp, hike, fish, play board games, and watch movies.
I love to go hiking and traveling with my teacher friends. When I have time by myself, I like to read, solve logic problems, watch nerdy math, science, or history documentaries, and play video games. I am really excited to get to know everyone and work together to help all our students thrive! Go Leopards!!!
